This one isn't aimed at the professional photographer in you, it's more about the big picture. My grandmother passed away recently and I helped clean out her home. She was 98 and will be missed by us all, but as they say she had a good innings. I was asked by my mother to help, so there were myself and a few other relatives there helping. I noted that the only time everyone stopped working was to look at photos they found. We were delighted when Donal Doherty recently shared these beautiful pictures on his blog. (Full post here) Donal designed this 14x10 classic matted album for his clients Karen and Gary. They chose an embossed onyx micro leather cover with a page mount style inside, designed with black borders under a hand cut ivory mat. LOST MEMORIES (French, English Subtitles) from Francois Ferracci on Vimeo. We saw this clip recently and it really resonated with us. Not only do we work in an industry that values the physical, but it's an important reminder of how easily our memories can be lost if we're not careful with them.
